WALTER DUNHAM, CARL STRANDLUND

STUDY OF THE RECONSTRUCTION FINANCE CORPORATION - PAGES 934-935 OF 1165

In 1949, Young aided in the hiring of RFC chairman Walter Dunham. Shortly after, Dunham had all of Lustron's top executives fired, excluding Strandlund and Young. V.A. McKechnie, Dunham's associate, was now VP of Operations. This becomes a double conflict of interest in which an employee of the debtor aided in the selection of an RFC employee, who then hired an associate of his to the debtor.
